While we’re big fans of mechanical keyboards, it must be said that a lot of people cant stand the clicky clacky and would much prefer something quieter instead. Enter, the Roccat Magma (<a href=”https://miteinander-lernen.com/roccat-magma-gaming-keyboard-review/” data-link-merchant=”pcgamer.com”” data-link-merchant=”Amazon US”” target=”_blank”>read our review), with its whisper quiet membrane switches, full sized layout, and detachable palm rest. The aesthetics here fall firmly into “love it or hate it” territory, but this is a quality keyboard with great customisation options and solid features. A great price for a great brand.
Redragon K552 | Tenkeyless | Mechanical Outemu Red Switches | User-defined RGB lighting | <a href=”https://shop-links.co/link?skuId=6458719&publisher_slug=future&exclusive=1&u1=hawk-custom-tracking&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bestbuy.com%2Fsite%2Fredragon-kumara-k552-rgb-wired-tkl-gaming-mechanical-blue-switch-keyboard-with-rgb-backlighting-black%2F6458719.p%3FskuId%3D6458719&article_name=hawk-article-name&article_url=hawk-article-url” data-link-merchant=”bestbuy.com”” target=”_blank”>$69.99 $43.99 at Best Buy (save $26)
Good mechanical keyboards don’t traditionally come cheap, but this Redragon K552 is here to buck the trend. This model features good quality Outemu red switches, customisable 87 key RGB lighting and a durable metal and ABS construction. There’s also anti-ghosting, splash resistance and a gold plated USB connector, making this little marvel a hell of a lot of keyboard for not a lot of money.
Logitech G413 TKL SE | Tenkeyless | Mechanical Switches | White LED lighting | <a href=”https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8432&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.com%2FLogitech-Keyboard-Mechanical-Anti-Ghosting-Keys-White%2Fdp%2FB08Z7J4KV3%2F%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-20%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-20″ data-link-merchant=”Amazon US”” target=”_blank”>$69.99 $44.27 at Amazon (save $25.72)
Logitech keyboards are some of the best in the business, but they often come with a bit of a premium, particularly the mechanical ones. Not so here, and this little tenkeyless board has all the build quality and robustness you’d expect from a high-end product, what with that durable aluminium-magnesium frame and Logitech’s own tactile mechanical switches. Shame it’s only got white LED lighting, but otherwise this is a solid mechanical board from a well-known brand.

This full sized Roccat Pyro is certainly a good looking keyboard, with a moody dark aesthetic and more nuanced RBG lighting than some of Roccat’s other products. It comes with a detachable palm rest, red mechanical linear switches and Roccat’s easy-shift technology, which allows you to assign extra functions to the WASD keys with an extra button press. A very handsome and well-featured beast this, and great value at this price.
SteelSeries Apex 5 Hybrid | Full Size | Mechanical | Per-key RGB lighting | <a href=”https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8432&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.com%2FSteelSeries-Apex-Hybrid-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard%2Fdp%2FB07ZGDD6B1%2F%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-20%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-20″ data-link-merchant=”Amazon US”” target=”_blank”>$99.99 $63.99 at Amazon (save $36)
SteelSeries has a reputation for quality peripherals, and this Apex 5 Hybrid is no exception. With a sturdyaluminium frame, per-key RGB illumination, and an customisable OLED smart display this feature packed mechanical keyboard certainly looks the part and feels like it too. A big slab of mechanical goodness at an excellent price.
Razer Huntsman Mini | Tenkeyless | Razer opto-mechanical switch (linear) | Chroma RGB lighting | <a href=”https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8432&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.com%2FRazer-Huntsman-Mini-Gaming-Keyboard%2Fdp%2FB08BFF4C7J%2F%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-20%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-20″ data-link-merchant=”Amazon US”” target=”_blank”>$119.99 $69.99 at Amazon (save $50)
A teeny-tiny keyboard this, but with some seriously impressive credentials. You can customise the lighting to your hearts content with Razer’s Chroma RGB lighting, but the headline feature here is the inclusion of optical mechanical switches, with key presses registered at the speed of light. It’s also got oil-resistant PBT keypads and Razer Hypershift for all your favourite macros. A lot of cool features in a small-yet-premium feeling package, now at a great price.
Corsair K70 Core RGB | Mechanical MLX Red switches | Media controls | Per-key lighting | <a href=”https://shop-links.co/link?skuId=6558790&publisher_slug=future&exclusive=1&u1=hawk-custom-tracking&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bestbuy.com%2Fsite%2Fcorsair-k70-core-rgb-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-gray%2F6558790.p%3FskuId%3D6558790&article_name=hawk-article-name&article_url=hawk-article-url” data-link-merchant=”bestbuy.com”” target=”_blank”>$99.99 $69.99 at Best Buy (save $30)
Mechanical keyboards can be very expensive, especially Corsair ones, but thankfully the Core lineup is here to save some pennies. This may not have all the flair of the K70 Max, but it’s a robust, responsive mechanical keyboard for a decent price tag. The inclusion of media controls just make it that much better for the money.

The Razer BlackWidow V3 is a firm favourite among gamers, and it’s not difficult to see why. With thicker doubleshot ABS keycaps built to withstand serious abuse, Razer’s Chroma RGB lighting, fast responding yellow mechanical switches and a dedicated volume-wheel, it’s certainly not short on features. The BlackWidow V3 has made a name for itself as a tough, resilient and game-ready keyboard with all the full-size options you would expect at a price you might not.

This Logitech G PRO comes with a lot of refined and clever features, giving you all the functionality with less of the fuss. It comes with a choice of key switches, a detachable Micro USB cable for easy portability, 3 step angle adjustment and a lot of customisation options in the G Hub software. Those backlit keys are on the subtle side of RGB lighting, and the Logitech comes off as a class act for less at this price.
Corsair K60 Pro TKL | Optical mechanical switches | RGB lighting | <a href=”https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8432&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.com%2FCorsair-Optical-Mechanical-Linear-Keyboard-Polling%2Fdp%2FB0BBWL8WX7%2Fref%3Dsr_1_2%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-20%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-20″ data-link-merchant=”Amazon US”” target=”_blank”>$99.99 $79.99 at Amazon (save $20)
The first mechanical keyboard our Jacob bought for himself was a Corsair K65—these little tenkeyless keyboards have come on a lot since then. Nowadays the K60 comes with optical switches for a faster actuation and longer lifespan, and a 8,000Hz polling rate. It’s a neat little solution for smaller desks or gamers that don’t care for a numpad.

For those of you that like your keyboards large, comfy and with a choice of switches, how about this slightly sinister looking G513? Something of the Darth Vader about it this one, but with a choice between brown and blue switches, a detachable memory-foam palmrest and a durable aluminium alloy construction this keyboard is certainly here to make an impact. It’s also got a USB pass-through port, meaning you could plug your mouse or even your phone into it for data transmission or charging. Nice feature that, and one I’d like to see more of.

A clever multi-function media wheel rounds off a keyboard that our Jacob is still using right now, despite having other boards to review.

Our top gaming keyboard is a larger, cheaper version of this board. I know, it’s a little odd that this diddy board is actually the more expensive of the two, but that’s because it’s intended to be the most premium of the lot with a compact customisable OLED screen and all the trimmings. That includes sound dampening (which really does make for a satisfying clack) and lubed switches. It’s a dream to type and game on, and at this price worth considering (though it’s still pretty expensive, ngl).
Our patented deal bots are working full-time, tracking down the best prices 24/7 so you don’t have to.

Yep, we did a double-take as well. A wireless gaming mouse from an established brand for only $20? An absolute steal, we think you’ll agree. And while it must be said that the aesthetics are not for everyone, in terms of functionality the EVGA X20 has a lot going for it, with 10 buttons, triple sensors, 5 customisable profiles and 3 zone RGB lighting. It may be a little on the chunky side, but it’s very difficult to argue against this much mouse for this little money.

Rated at 71 hours battery life, this is the wireless version of the <a href=”https://miteinander-lernen.com/glorious-model-o-lightweight-gaming-mouse-review/” data-link-merchant=”pcgamer.com”” data-link-merchant=”SkimLinks – gloriousgaming.com”” target=”_blank”>Glorious Model O we tested some time ago. Right now, this neat and super light little mouse is going for less than it’s wired counterpart. It comes in black or white, and while these mice don’t tend to have the most accurate RGB, they’re still accurate pointers when it comes to gaming—and that’s what its all about.

Is it a brilliant wireless gaming mouse, or a transformer? Actually it’s a bit of both, with a feature we’ve yet to see successfully replicated in other mice – namely, those clip on customisable side plates. With a series of magnetic clicks you can transform your experience with the addition (or indeed, deletion) of various side button configurations, meaning this mouse ends up being a jack of all trades, and we ended up being rather impressed in <a href=”https://miteinander-lernen.com/razer-naga-pro-review-wireless-gaming-mouse/” data-link-merchant=”pcgamer.com”” data-link-merchant=”Amazon US””>our review. Don’t think it’s a slouch in the specs department however, as its switches, sensors and buttons are all top rate. A great saving to be made here, on a unique peripheral.

When <a href=”https://miteinander-lernen.com/logitech-g502-lightspeed-wireless-gaming-mouse-review/” data-link-merchant=”pcgamer.com”” data-link-merchant=”Amazon US””>we reviewed the G502 Lightspeed we found it to be a brilliant mouse, but a little bit on the pricey side. However, with a discount this big we’re more than happy to sing the praises of this excellent device. 11 customisable buttons, a fantastically accurate sensor, great looks and comfort, tuneable weights and PowerPlay wireless charging support with a 60 hour plus battery life. Phew. That’s a lot of great features, and a mighty gaming mouse this makes indeed. One to look out for, especially at this sort of money.

The <a href=”https://miteinander-lernen.com/playstation-5-review/” data-link-merchant=”pcgamer.com”” data-link-merchant=”Amazon US””>PlayStation 5 DualSense has a “you have to touch it to believe it” quality, thanks to its haptic motors and “Adaptive” triggers. The downside is that games need to be programmed to take advantage of them, and only a few do. However, Steam already offers full support for the controller, so it’s relatively easy to plug in and use like any other gamepad.
